Dog Bites Man, Part 3

BY THERSITES:
I'm not even going to try and paraphrase everything ridiculous that the Republicans, the Cowardly Lions in the Democratic Party and the MSM all are coming up about Cynthia McKinney now. Please just read Dana Milbank's latest article, "All Eyes on the Hammer, Until the Hairdo Steps In," which itself is a fair article and tries to put the focus where it belongs but shows all the players in such a poor light that I'm starting to understand term limits: A pox on everyone's House. Shoot them all and start from scratch, with the exception of a certain Vermont Independent who's still a gentleman. Here are small teasers from Milbank's piece:

GOP aides, one of them wearing an "I {heart} Capitol Police" button, called the session to an end. A dismal news conference had been salvaged by the McKinney scandal. "We should send somebody over to thank her," Rep. David Dreier (R-Calif.) said as he left the room.

And this, about the Hillary Clinton acolyte who's running the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:

Freshman Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) took the floor yesterday with a resolution commending the Capitol Police. "These men and women deserve a pat on the back, not a punch in the chest," he said. Rep. Rahm Emanuel (Ill.), the man in charge of House Democrats' 2006 campaign, immediately signed on as a co-sponsor. "My uncle's a cop," he deadpanned.

And Tom Delay's last hurrah:

"Cynthia McKinney is a racist," DeLay declared on Fox News.

Shoot them all. Both parties. And the media, especially Soledad O'Brien. But leave Bernie Sanders.

Sign me up for the Revolution. Here's my new bumpersticker:

Boot Them or Shoot Them

But you left out the best part of Delay's quote:

"Cynthia McKinney is a racist," DeLay declared on Fox News. "This is incredible arrogance that sometimes hits these members of Congress, but especially Cynthia McKinney."

As always, count on the Bugsquasher to be unintentionally hilarious.
