Plame Leak Hampered U.S. Efforts to Block Iran WMDs

Valerie Plame was a clandestine CIA operative trying to stop Iran from getting WMDs. Assistant Chief of Staff to the President, Karl Rove, and the Vice President's Chief of Staff, Scooter Libby, leaked her identity to the press for political advantage. Vice President Cheney actually instructed Libby to leak classified information, knowing it was classified. Blowing Plame's cover hurt our efforts to stop Iran from acquiring WMDs. Iran now is closing in on The Bomb, and since we're overextended in an unnecessary war in Iraq, there's not a damned thing we can do about it.

And there are no impeachment proceedings, because (a) none of the above facts involve semen stains on a blue dress, or (b) the public isn't standing in front of the White House, waving torches and demanding to see heads on pikes.

I think the answer is (b). Man the phones and call for hearings on the Cheney-Libby leak.

Yep. And they accuse us of being soft on defense. They're the "I'm rubber you're glue" party. It makes me want to scream:

Yeeeaaaaaaaaaaggggggh!

Darn, there go my chances at the Dem nomination...
