A Nice Piece of Tripe for Supper

"Judge Alito looked me in the eye and told me that he will not conduct himself based on an ideological agenda," Conrad says. "He promised me that he would judge each case based on its merits and protect and defend the liberties set out in the Constitution. And finally, Judge Alito has assured me that the president is bound by the statutes passed by Congress and that he supports the system of checks and balances enshrined in the Constitution."

My 10 year old daughter isn't that gullible. Sen. Conrad? Buh-bye!!

Write your senators and representative that you demand they increase the minimum wage.

Thresites,

I just wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you did. You provided us with vital information, however 18 Democrats chose to stand with the party that believes in stripping Americans rights and liberties.

You have added so much to the grassroots movement, and I will work to remove those vichies and replace them with Senators and Representatives that care for the American People.

Peace to you!

Another Angry Lefty, crying in his beer, eh? Take a deep breath, because this November, several of your friends are going to be voted out of the Senate, and your road will be that much tougher. No more liberals on the SC... sorry.

Well if Judge Alito looked him in the eye when he said it, then I'm sure he really, really, REALLY means it...

Why must all the hateful people that speak of Angry Lefties sign anonymously, hmm? Ashamed of being neo-cons, perhaps?

The omnipresent and courageous "Anonymous" trolls must not be very bright. Several Dems are going to be voted out of the Senate? Well, duh! That's the point of this site, sir. But they'll be voted out in the primaries and replaced by real liberals, who will then kick tail on any neocons who choose to waste their corporate masters' money opposing them.

And the purpose of the filibuster wasn't only to keep Alito off the Court. It was to force Democrats to make a choice: be real liberals, or be Vichy collaborationsist. We succeeded admirably at the latter.

Just don't want you to look foolish, taunting us over walking a batter when we're really setting up a squeeze!

Basically, we just don't want to be on the receiving end of the sort of tactics you advocate on this site. Who needs the aggravation of being harassed by you people?

Generally this is a troll-free zone, but I thought the rest of you would appreciate the humor of this one!

Anyone ever see a liberal go to a conservative website and harass them anonymously? Over and over? I never have. But someone who comes here specifically to harass people anonymously defends his anonymity because he's afraid of being harassed by us. Beautiful.

It's that kind of unreasoning, pee-in-your boots lack of courage that leads so many rightwingers to preemptively invade other countries that don't threaten them, hand our civil rights to Presidents who instill fear but actually do nothing to make us safer, etc. Illogical fear posing as powerful righteousness.

Or am I being snarky?
